Central Pattana Plc, the developer of CentralWorld, is accelerating the renovation of its shopping mall and the redevelopment of Zen department store, which were badly damaged by fire during the political violence in May.

At present, over 400 tenants would like to re-connect the site and decorate their shops again. Then CentralWorld is planned to reopen by the end of September. The CEO of CentralWorld would like to come back and improve CentralWorld to luxurious department store again. Then the CEO makes it more modern, beautiful, safe and environmentally friendly, etc. The renovation of project has three stages. Firstly, they will open at the end of September and stores consist of many spaces about 80% of department store as Beacon, Central Court, Dazzle, Eden and Forum zones as well as B2S. Next, they have to cover the Atrium Zone and food area on the sixth and seventh floors. After that, they will open again between November and December this year. Lastly, Zen and near areas are available and finish in August next year. The CPN is invested to upgrade and improve the fire prevention system and the security system. Sooner, CentralWorld has a plan for tenants that they have a four things. It contains helping tenants to bring back customers, finding option sales outlets until CentralWorld opens again, providing financial support, and making adjustable contracts of rental.

Before CentralWorld burned, many people like to go there like me because It has many facilities and entertainments such as book stores, restaurants, theaters, karaoke, bowling, clothes shops, etc. Then CentralWorld is significant for shoppers and teenagers. Right now, CentralWorld will reopen again and many stores will improve their stores. Therefore, CentralWorld will come back to luxurious department store again because the CEO will make it more modern, beautiful, safe and environmentally friendly, etc. Then I guess CentralWorld will be a great department store again, maybe more great than before. However, this year you can use and shop in some area because CentralWorld will repair in turn.
