DSI will not indict Thakin in shares case

The Department of Special Investigation has opted not to indict ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his former wife Potjaman na Pombejra for their past concealment of Shin Corp shares.

This formed part of the court's ruling in February to seize properties about 47 billion baht belonging to the Shinawatra family. Next Mr Tharit said the DSI wouldn’t press charges against the former couple for failing to announce their shareholdings because the number of shares they held, albeit via nominees, had neither increased nor decreased. Then the resolve not to charge Thaksin and Khunying Potjaman wasn’t associated to another allegation by the SEC that the two had failed to conduct a tender offer, which is a public invitation to the company's shareholders to buy their shares, usually at an attractive premium above the present market price, despite the fact that they held more than a 25% stake in Shin Corp.

......In my opinion this news is interesting because many people have argument about Shin Corp that DSI finds many evidences to help charge Thaksin and Khunying Potjaman for failing to announce their shareholdings in Shin Corp as was requested by the SEC. Then CSI charge that the Supreme Court found share hiding in family members. So the properties about 47 billion baht belong to the Shinawatra family. Then it made the Shinawatra family isn’t charge about against the former couple for failing to announce their shareholdings because the number of shares they held, albeit via nominees, had neither increased nor decreased. Everything will show you after have to find really proof, you shouldn’t believe everything but you should use your opinions.

Thailand asks Asean not to intervene in temple row

The Thai government is asking other Asean countries not to intervene in the Preah Vihear conflict and allow Cambodia and Thailand to settle the matter themselves.

Then This problem should solve anything. However, I think that prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will discuss and against for the Preah Vihear because it's really in thai. Prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is acquired a problem that many people in Thailand send morale because Cambodian brings a old map to assert that the Preah Vihear is in Cambodian. I hope that both Thailand and Cambodian will not have conflict and distribute. Each country can adjust something to agree together.

Robinson keeps 6% sales growth target

Robinson Department Store has maintained its sales growth target of 6% thanks to the growing in fashionable goods segment, according to Gerard McGurk, senior vice-president for general goods merchandising.

Then Robinson will keep up the balance of our fashionable products at this level because as a department store we have to continue our product variety as well. An income from fashion products which come 60% of the total come from business. While the company is spending on fashion products, the company has increased around 1,300 baht per customer and visit. CPN stepping up pace of renovations

Central Pattana Plc, the developer of CentralWorld, is accelerating the renovation of its shopping mall and the redevelopment of Zen department store, which were badly damaged by fire during the political violence in May.

At present, over 400 tenants would like to re-connect the site and decorate their shops again. Then CentralWorld is planned to reopen by the end of September. Then the CEO makes it more modern, beautiful, safe and environmentally friendly, etc. The renovation of project has three stages. Firstly, they will open at the end of September and stores consist of many spaces about 80% of department store as Beacon, Central Court, Dazzle, Eden and Forum zones as well as B2S. Next, they have to cover the Atrium Zone and food area on the sixth and seventh floors. After that, they will open again between November and December this year. Lastly, Zen and near areas are available and finish in August next year. The CPN is invested to upgrade and improve the fire prevention system and the security system. Sooner, CentralWorld has a plan for tenants that they have a four things. It contains helping tenants to bring back customers, finding option sales outlets until CentralWorld opens again, providing financial support, and making adjustable contracts of rental.

Before CentralWorld burned, many people like to go there like me because It has many facilities and entertainments such as book stores, restaurants, theaters, karaoke, bowling, clothes shops, etc. Then CentralWorld is significant for shoppers and teenagers. Right now, CentralWorld will reopen again and many stores will improve their stores. Therefore, CentralWorld will come back to luxurious department store again because the CEO will make it more modern, beautiful, safe and environmentally friendly, etc. Then I guess CentralWorld will be a great department store again, maybe more great than before. However, this year you can use and shop in some area because CentralWorld will repair in turn. So It has a good news is CentralWorld has a plan for tenants that they have a four things to help tenants and the CPN has plan to upgrade and develop the fire prevention system and the security system. I hope that in the future will not have a bad news with CentralWorld again and I wish CentralWorld reopen in sooner.

Green means go in govt initiative

Officials hope a plan to keep state purchases eco-friendly will plant seeds of change. The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment has joined the green movement by compiling a list of environmentally friendly products for state agencies to purchase.

......The ministry's green procurement project aims to present environmental knowledge in Thai society as they plan to help and slow global warming. Then Cabinet approved the Pollution Control Department's (PCD) rule wish government agencies to use eco-friendly products and services. After that this project was sent two years ago as the PCD determine to invest more in clean technology and protection attempts. They would like to improve and support the business sector, particularly manufacturers and service providers. Next, the PCD distributes a handbook that it has lists of products and services which it passed the group's green standard. The lists are 200 often used office products, which is allocated to 17 categories. The PCD received a "Green Leaf" certificate from the Green Leaf Foundation. They would like to cheer business director who interested in their products and services on the list to present information about the environment and green technology. In addition, the PCD already works together with 7-Eleven convenience stores to establish a "green corner" 5,500 stores around worldwide as 7-Eleven believe that the products will be eco-friendly products.

......In my opinion, Thailand doesn't have enough knowledge about environment as I agree with this news. Then the ministry's green procurement scheme would like to explain and help global warming by the Pollution Control Department (PCD) wants people use eco-friendly products and services. It is good news because eco-friendly products help to decrease pollution in environment even if this method can drop and slow down global warming. I like this project because many products in present have an affect on pollution such as some product was hard to decay, some product made from nature, etc. However this project is significant for environment and everybody, which some people ignore. The PCD has 200 lists on a handbook but 200 lists bring to use just 17 categories, so the PCD works together with 7-11 convenience stores. Therefore this project will be know because 7-11 stores are available around country. The PCD has another plan that the PCD requires to support and improve business sector and manufactures about environment and green technology. I like it because if manufactures still make products that it impacts pollution in environment. I hope that the PCD will do all of plans that they said. I would like left over categories in 200 lists will establish to help environment and wait the world will clean.

In last winter, The US East Coast was recorded the snowfall. In last summer, Parts of the western United States have had a cooler than usual summer.

......I think this news made me feels bad because the world has many problems that it is difficult to solve it. this heat wave made everypoeple worries. Washington was attacked by heat wave as it is awful about 50 days and it still continue that it made many people sick and die. So it is very serious because the world temperatures vary too much which I think that many technologies and many industries are cause of the problems. If a number of temperatures will increase and it can not contain. I assume that heat wave will come to Thailand and extend to worldwide therefore if everybody helps to save the world. This time US - Washington has a number of temperatures rise to 90 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 Celsius, so It is very horror. I am sad with Washington that it was record in around thirty years. After that, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration plan to establish method for heat wave, which they control carbon releases in Washington and other cities in US. If population and organization go along with plans of government. In my opinion, it has primary way to protect heat wave such as should drink water a lot, should escape from sunlight, should exercise in hot day, etc.
